1. Overview & Warranty Period

Dumfume ("we", "our", or "us") warrants that Dumfume brand Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries (the "Product") are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

To unlock your extended warranty, simply register your product online within 30 days of purchase.

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser from Dumfume or an authorized reseller, commencing from the original date of shipment. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Warranty Coverage & Remedies

This warranty covers functional defects, including a commitment that the battery will retain a minimum of 70% of its original rated capacity throughout the warranty period.

If a valid defect is confirmed, Dumfume will provide a remedy according to the following schedule:

Years 4-5 Repair or replacement with a certified refurbished unit. Customer pays one-way shipping (to Dumfume). We cover return shipping.

  • A replaced or repaired product is covered for the remainder of the original product's warranty period.

  • All replaced defective parts/products become the property of Dumfume.

  • "Certified refurbished" units meet Dumfume's same functional and safety standards as new units.

3. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To obtain warranty service, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email service.dumfume@hotmail.com and provide:

    • Your Order Number and Proof of Purchase.

    • The Product Serial Number (SN).

    • A detailed description of the problem and any photos/videos.

  2. Diagnosis: Our technical team will respond within 2 business days to diagnose the issue.

  3. Return Authorization: If a return is needed, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numberReturns without an RMA will not be accepted.

  4. Ship Product: Pack the product securely in its original packaging to prevent damage during transit.

  5. Resolve: We will repair or replace your product promptly upon receipt and inspection.

4. What Is Not Covered (Warranty Exclusions)

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Use with non-Dumfume or incompatible accessories, chargers, or inverters.

  • Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, liquid exposure, fire, or other acts of nature.

  • Any modification, disassembly, or unauthorized repair.

  • Improper installation, storage, or operation not following the user manual.

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor casing scratches).

  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers (e.g., eBay, Amazon third-party dropshippers).

  • Capacity degradation that does not exceed the 70% threshold.

5. Important Disclaimers

  • Critical Use Prohibition: Dumfume batteries are NOT for use in life-support systems, medical equipment, or other critical applications where failure could cause injury or death. Such use is prohibited and voids this warranty. Dumfume disclaims all liability for damages from such use.

  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dumfume's total liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies described above. We shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
